The Columbia Charter Township Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is composed of five (5) appointed members. The ZBA is responsible for authorizing variances, as defined in the Columbia Charter Township Zoning Ordinance. This Board also has the authority to act on any matters where the Zoning Ordinance may require an interpretation and they have authority to hear appeals of actions which are related to the Zoning Ordinance decided by the Columbia Charter Township Board, Planning Commission, or staff.
