Due to the passage of the statewide ballot proposal 18-3, in 2018, all eligible and registered voters in Michigan may now request an absent voter ballot without providing a reason, according to the Michigan Secretary of State’s Office.
To obtain your Absent Voter Ballot, you can stop by the Township office and fill out an application for an absent voter ballot OR print the application on-line and bring/mail to the Township office to receive your Absent Voter Ballot.
Please remember your request for an Absent Voter Ballot MUST be received by your Township Clerk NO LATER than 5 p.m. the Friday BEFORE the election. If you forget to mail your application by the deadline, you can always appear in person at the Clerk’s office anytime up to 4 p.m. the day prior to the election, if you are already registered at your current address in the Township.
If you have any questions, please feel free to give our office a call.
