The Columbia Charter Township Planning Commission (PC) is composed of seven (7) appointed members. The PC oversees the Township Master Plan for the physical development of Columbia Charter Township and serves as a review board for new building or redevelopment plans submitted to the Township. The PC reviews cases such as Zoning Map Amendments and Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments, Site Plan Reviews, Special Land Use requests, and subdivisions. The PC is a recommending body for all review before a decision is made the Township Board of Trustees.
