The Municipal Services Department is responsible for performing a variety of Township duties to support the operation and maintenance of all facilities and grounds, equipment (excluding police and fire equipment), and sewer system. Our mission is to ensure internal efficiencies that maximize customer service. Duties include mowing and plowing the township hall, Hyde Road Park, four cemeteries, and the sewer building. Our sewer maintenance division coordinates the work for all new sewer installations, decommissions and relocations. They are responsible for all Miss Dig tickets and respond to all “red light” call outs and routine service requests. This work requires coordination with other agencies and contractors to be successful, and the township maintains a list of qualified companies to assist as needed.
